Some of the best PS5 internal SSDs are seeing seriously steep discounts this Black Friday. Case in point, Samsung 980 Pro SSD w/ heatsink is on sale for $189 at Amazon (opens in new tab) That’s still pricy, but it’s a massive $210 off its full retail price.

The Samsung 980 Pro hits all of Sony’s benchmarks for an internal SSD, and even better it doesn’t replace the console’s stock hard drive. If you’re constantly having to manage your PS5 storage space to make room to install new games. it’s well worth investing in a new SSD. Plus, the installation process takes just minutes and is a complete breeze.

With some of this year’s biggest blockbuster titles such as God of War Ragnarök and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 demanding more than 80GB of hard drive space, now is the time to give yourself some extra room to play with.

Apple AirPods Pro lowest price deal

Forget the Apple AirPods 2, the first generation of Apple’s noise-canceling earbuds have dropped to a lowest price. For a limited time, the Apple AirPods Pro are on sale for $159 at Walmart (opens in new tab), that’s a $90 saving compared to their original MSRP of $249.

In our AirPods Pro review, we loved the high-quality noise cancellation with Transparency Mode, the snug-in-ear design, and spatial audio support providing one of the most immersive audio experiences.

The AirPods Pro sport Apple’s H1 chip allowing them to easily connect to your Apple devices in seconds. Plus, they offer a solid five hours of use on a single charge, and while some rival earbuds surpass this, with the included wireless charging case you can leave home knowing you’ve got a full 24 hours of charge in your pocket.

Big savings on big screen TVs are always some of the most popular Black Friday deals and this year is shaping up no different. If you’ve got a TV on your shopping list, the Samsung Q90 QLED TV is a model that should be on your radar.

And now is a very good time to buy as the Samsung 4K QLED 65-inch Q90T TV is on sale for $1,099 at Amazon (opens in new tab). That’s a huge $998 drop on its full retail price of $2,097, and it is the lowest price ever for this set.

In our Samsung Q90 QLED TV review, we labelled this television as the strongest OLED alternative we have ever seen. While this isn’t the latest QLED model from Samsung, it’s combination of excellent picture quality and great value makes it an easy recommendation.

Sony WH-1000XM4 price drop deal

Before the the new Sony WH-1000XM5 arrived earlier this year, the WH-1000XM4 were top in our best wireless headphones and best noise-cancelling headphones lists. And we still strongly recommend them, especially now they’ve been discounted more than $100.

Right now, the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones are on sale for $228 at Best Buy (opens in new tab). That’s a lowest ever price and a significant drop from the full retail price of $349.

In our Sony WH-1000XM4 review, we described the headphones as “Sony’s best pair of noise-cancelling headphones yet” and called them “a fine-tuned enhancement that stands out as the best in the series, and even beats the best-in-class Bose 700 in some key areas.” We loved the excellent audio, remarkable noise cancellation, the intuitive smart controls and the superb battery life of around 30 hours (with Active Noise Cancellation enabled).

We love the Apple Watch Ultra here at Tom’s Guide, but there’s no denying it’s a pricey smartwatch. Thankfully Black Friday deals are making Apple’s most premium wearable a little more affordable. Right now, the Apple Watch is on sale for $739 at Amazon (opens in new tab). That’s a $60 saving and brings the smartwatch down to its lowest ever price.

In our Apple Watch Ultra review, we said “The Apple Watch Ultra doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but Apple has made its best sports watch yet. Features like the Action Button and the better battery life make this a contender for athletes in a way Apple never has been before.” We did note it’s a little too big for petite wrists, and its eyewatering price was a sticking point — and even at this discounted price it’s still a big investment.

Still, we believe the Apple Watch Ultra justifies its entry fee with a wealth of useful features including the new Action Button that makes pausing the watch or logging running laps easier than ever. If you’re the adventurous type who takes their fitness seriously, it’s a smart buy.

Given how commonplace working from home has become, getting a standing desk is one very easy way to upgrade your home office. it can also help improve your back, as well as simply mix things up across the day.

And there are Black Friday deals to be had on standing desks, as flagged by our senior editor Anthony Spadafora. And after testing a dozen standing desks, the Uplift V2, the Flexispot Kana Pro and the Vari Electric Desk are his absolute favorites.

Nintendo Switch Black Friday Deal

The Nintendo Switch continues to be one of the most popular gaming devices on the planet, and that means that substantial discounts are pretty rare. But for a limited time, this Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Bundle is on sale for $299 at Walmart (opens in new tab) that’s a $100 saving.

In our Nintendo Switch review we called it “a fantastic console” and praised it’s multiple modes of play — namely the ability to play in portable mode —  and it’s versatile Joy-Con controllers (although we also recommend the more traditional Pro Controllers (opens in new tab)).

The Nintendo Switch offers a eclectic library of games from family friendly platformers to more meaty RPGs. And many of the best Nintendo Switch games you can buy are currently on sale including NieR Automata the End of YoRHa Edition (opens in new tab) and The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (opens in new tab)

Good morning! Welcome to Tom’s Guide Black Friday live blog, we’ll be highlighting the biggest savings and discounts across all major retailers throughout the entire day. Let’s start with a big discount on a powerful gaming laptop, the Razer Blade 14 Gaming Laptop is on sale for $1,999 at Amazon (opens in new tab) — that’s $700 off.

In our Razer Blade 14 review we said the gaming machine “offers powerful components and excellent performance in a compact and lightweight package.” We also loved its gorgeous 14-inch QHD display with a speedy 165Hz refresh rate. This model comes packing a Ryzen 9 5900HX and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 CPU, along with 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD for storing dozens of the best PC games.

If there’s only one piece of buying advice you take from this live blog — please, make it this. Do not shop the Apple Store Black Friday sale. It’s terrible if you’re looking for discounts. I say that as an Apple fan myself.  When it comes to Apple gear — you’ll find much better deals from authorized Apple resellers, like Amazon, Walmart, etc. Unlike Apple, which is bundling a gift card with eligible devices, retailers are offering juicy dollar-off discounts on Apple gear. Here are some of my favorite Apple deals you can get right now.

LG A2 OLED

Happy Black Friday, all! We’re gonna start this live blog off with the biggest surprise deal of 2022. It’s a deal that our readers also seem to be taking advantage of. Best Buy once again has the LG A2 48-inch 4K OLED TV on sale for $569. That’s the cheapest OLED TV we’ve ever seen. It’s so cheap, we decided to buy it and test it ourselves!

In our LG A2 OLED TV review we said it offers a wonderfully colorful picture and fairly strong audio along with a slick and intuitive interface. We found it was reliable for gaming, though keep in mind you’re stuck with a 60Hz refresh rate and there are no HDMI 2.1 ports. Our main recommendation is to buy this TV when it’s on sale (like right now) as it’s a solid value when discounted. Heads up — the 48-inch model is a Best Buy exclusive, but Amazon has the 55-inc model on sale for just $796, which is the cheapest 55-inch OLED ever.
