Court magistrate in Attock on Monday granted bail to Sheikh Rashid Shafique, the nephew of Shiekh Rasheed Ahmed, in the complaint filed in connection with the incident at Masjid-e-Nabvi (PBUH), according to the report.
Mr. Shafique was apprehended at the Islamabad International Airport on May 1 after arriving from Saudi Arabia.
The reserved verdict was issued and Sheikh Rashid Shafique was granted bail by Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Arif following the hearing of the arguments.
After being detained for his claimed role in the Madinah incident, he was remanded in police detention for another two days at the conclusion of the most recent hearing.
When MNA Sheikh Rashid Shafique was carried in front of the duty court, the police requested that he be held in custody for seven days in order to investigate his alleged role in the terrible incident.
Shafique was arrested at the Islamabad International Airport as soon as he returned from his Umrah pilgrimage. He was nominated in a case brought against PTI leaders in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
During the night following the event at the Masjid-i-Nabvi, MNA Shafique shared a video from his cell phone in which he expressed his support for the incident.
