Priyanka, Nick being daughter home after 100 days in the NICU

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra Jonas and American pop star Nick Jonas have finally brought their baby girl home after the newborn spent 100 days in the NICU. Taking to Instagram, the former Miss World also shared the first picture of her daughter with Nick. 

She wrote, “On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home.”

The couple, who welcomed Malti Marie Chopra Jonas in January, is ecstatic as she comes home. “Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is.”

Priyanka further added. “We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every doctor, nurse and specialist at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let’s get it MM! Mommy and daddy love you.”

The Dostana star then wished all the mums and caretakers a very Happy Mother’s Day.

“Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and caretakers in my life and out there. You make it look so easy. Thank you,” she said. Priyanka concluded the note by expressing gratitude to her husband for being with her. “Also, there is no one I’d rather do this with than you. Thank you for making me a mama. Nick Jonas, I love you.”

Following the birth, the couple announced they were overjoyed after sharing they have now embraced parenthood. 

Sharing a note on Instagram tagging Nick, Priyanka wrote, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.” Nick Jonas also shared the same post on his social media page.
