Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness showcased why Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch is the most powerful character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by obliterating the Illuminati. That Illuminati team also included familiar faces such as John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic after the actor was fan cast as the character for years.
However, it may surprise some that Elizabeth Olsen never actually filmed the scene with John Krasinski. This fact was revealed in a recent lie detector test Olsen did with Vanity Fair. When asked if she’s ever met Krasinksi, Olsen replied:
“I don’t think so. No, I’ve never met him… I’ve never met him. Never met him!…I’ve never met that man. I’ve met his wife.”
Olsen was then asked if John Krasinski was the smartest man alive, in reference to the line in Doctor Strange 2 about Mr. Fantastic, to which she said:
“I would never assume that an actor would be the smartest man alive.”
