She-Hulk is expected to add another flavor to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, by not only being a 30-minute legal comedy but by also breaking the fourth wall, something that also occurs in the comics. Last month, Marvel Studios debuted the new trailer for the upcoming series, which included a tease of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil suited up.
She-Hulk will also see the return of Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner after Avengers: Endgame, who is still one with the Hulk. With the Disney Plus show arriving later this month, USA Today has released a one-minute clip. The clip follows Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters training with Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner, who has also adopted the Hulk form. The footage also displays the playful tone we can expect to see from the upcoming series. You can watch the clip below.
A New Hero Enters the MCU
With She-Hulk on the horizon, Jennifer Walters becomes the latest Marvel character to get her origin told on Disney Plus. This comes after we recently got shows that introduced Moon Knight and Ms. Mavel to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Here is the synopsis for She-Hulk:
“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.
Created by Jessica Gao, Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law stars Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Benedict Wong, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry.
She-Hulk premieres on Disney Plus on August 17th. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the upcoming series, and the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. You can also subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for some original video content.
