The Resort stars on their Peacock mystery series

The Resort is the latest series to emerge from producer Sam Esmail (Mr. Robot, Angelyne). Premiering this weekend on Peacock, The Resort is part mystery, part comedy, and completely bizarre. It is also one of the more unique series to debut this year. Hailing from creator Andy Siara, the writer of the Andy Samberg breakout hit Palm Springs, The Resort is an eight-episode series that mines the popularity of mysteries and the tropical vacation settling of The White Lotus for a really fun and engrossing show (read our review).

I recently got the chance to talk with the cast and crew of The Resort about the series. Stars William Jackson Harper (The Good Place) and Cristin Milioti (Palm Springs) talked about reuniting for an acting project together as well as portraying a married couple for the second time. The pair talked about how they got involved with this project and what it was like playing characters who have been together for over a decade. We also talked to Skyler Gisondo, Nina Bloomgarden, Luis Gerardo Mendez, and Gabriela Cartol on their roles from both of the series’ dual timelines. Series creator Andy Siara also chatted about how this series went from a feature to a streaming series. Check out my full interviews with them in the embed above.

The Resort is now streaming on Peacock.
