Isabela Merced, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Spike Fearn and Aileen Wu have been announced as the latest additions to the cast of the upcoming Alien movie from Disney’s 20th Century Studios. The movie is being directed by Fede Alvarez, who also co-wrote the script with his frequent collaborator Rodo Sayagues.

Cailee Spaeny spearheads the cast of the new Alien movie, but character details are being kept under wraps for the time being. The 24-year-old actress has already made a name for herself in Hollywood with roles in movies such as Pacific Rim: Uprising and Bad Times at the El Royale.

What to expect from the next Alien movie

Fede Alvarez’s Alien movie is set to begin filming on March 9th, with the production based in Budapest, Hungary. Alien franchise creator Ridley Scott is producing the movie via his Scott Free banner, along with his producing partner Michael Pruss. Brent O’Connor, Elizabeth Cantillo, and Tom Moran are serving as executive producers.

The next Alien movie is expected to be a fresh take on the iconic science-fiction horror franchise, with Fede Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues bringing their unique vision to the project. Alvarez is best known for his work on horror movies like Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe, so fans are excited to see what he can do with the Xenomorphs of the Alien series.

The upcoming Alien movie does not yet have a title or release date. In addition to the Fede Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues project, Ridley Scott is also attached to a television series set within the same World as the movie series.
