From wearing tricolored clothes to hoisting the flag with everyone, I make sure to participate in all the possible celebrations. While doing so, I also ensure that to not take the day lightly as a holiday. My child Rianna also loves Republic Day and eagerly looks forward to all the activities that has the patriotic fervor spreaded all over.”
I have a special connection with Republic Day. My grandfather had served as a doctor in the Indo-China war. He also used to write ‘Bhartiya’ in the religion column. We lost him when I was very young. I grew up listening to his stories. My grandfather was extremely disciplined and passionate for the country. We all feel so proud of him and also his achievements”.
