The final episode of She-Hulk features the live-action debut of a major character from the pages of Marvel Comics.
She-Hulk episode nine is now available on Disney Plus, wrapping up the first season of the latest Marvel Studios series. The series has yet to be renewed for a second season, but its finale includes quite a few unresolved plot threads, setting up the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe
The most suprising reveal of the She-Hulk finale happens towards its final moments with the Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of Skaar. During a brief, jaw-dropping scene, Bruce Banner drops by the Walters family dinner in his “Smart Hulk” form and introduces his relatives to his son Skaar. Prior to that moment, Banner had been missing for the majority of the series due to a sudden trip to Sakaar.
Wil Deusner was tasked with bringing Skaar to life for She-Hulk but the character doesn’t have any lines during his appearance in the finale. The actor is best known for his work as Joey Zarick on the live-action DC Comics series Stargirl.
Skaar was created by writer Greg Pak and artist John Romita Jr. and made his first comic book appearance in 2007’s What If? Planet Hulk #1. He’s the son of Bruce Banner and Caiera the Oldstrong, a resident of Sakaar. He has previously been featured in the animated series Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. on Disney XD.
Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law stars Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Benedict Wong, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry.
