Ted Nugent recently discussed how Mark Wahlberg became what the singer deemed ’a freedom fighter’ while defending his faith and country against ‘deviants’ like RuPaul while chatting on his Facebook show, the Nightly Nuge.
Nugent was speaking about Wahlberg’s religious ideology and beliefs, and the topic drifted to a controversial subject, as it mostly does. Since the rocker has never been one to shy away from vocalizing his controversial opinions, he didn’t hold back while criticizing RuPaul and the drag community, who he deemed ‘harmed’ his faith.
The rocker then accused numerous people, who he called deviants, of vicious crimes and child abuse and supported Wahlberg, who had been a righteous fighter of faith and fought back against RuPaul, in Ted’s opinion. He then pointed out how Mark frequently used the song ‘Stranglehold’ in his movies, so it was evident that the actor was sending off a message against those who tried ruining his faith.
Ted’s on Wahlberg being a faithful American while ‘deviants’ tried ruining the U.S.:
“People are seen that there is such tragedy that the President of the United States is such and evil man that you have RuPaul, this deviants, perverts, and drag queens, are grooming children. The most evil act that the mankind is capable of: sexualization of children, trafficking of children, disappearance of children, and the sexual trafficking of children through our own Uncle Sam borders.
So, mankind’s instinct goes, ‘Wow, hang on. If you’re going to attack my Christianity; if you’re going to attack my faith; if you’re going to try to get rid of God and the school… then we’re going to respond in full, we’re going to respond and show you that Christianity, faith, and freedom is alive and well in America.
Mark Wahlberg is not a coincidence. Wahlberg had something to do with getting the greatest freedom-defying song,’ Stranglehold,’ in four of his movies. Because he knows the spirit of someone who stands up for themselves and stands strong in defiance of the status quo, in defiance of criminality, in defiance of the attack on Christianity. These are the times that God sent us here for.”
So, for Nugent, Mark was the model American who stood by his faith and freedom. The guitarist discussed how he felt that his religion was under constant accusations from others who he believed to have committed numerous vicious crimes and tried destroying all things American by imposing their ideologies into society.
