ISLAMABAD: It has been decided to gradually open all educational institutions including schools across the country except Sindh.
A meeting of inter-provincial education ministers was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood to review the situation in Corona across the country.
Addressing a press conference after the meeting, he said that all public and private schools would be allowed to call 50 per cent students in one day.
Shafqat Mehmood said that examinations in all provinces except Sindh would be held as per schedule. An additional 5% marks will be given in the compulsory subjects in the examinations.

He said that the meeting requested the education ministers to vaccinate the students and teachers of the university while vaccination of school staff was also required.
“The Corona situation will be reviewed on August 25. We are doing our best to take care of the children’s health and education,” he said.
On the other hand, Punjab Education Minister Murad Rass, after attending the inter-provincial education ministers’ meeting, said that schools across the province would remain open as per the orders issued.
He said that all public and private schools would be allowed to call 50 per cent students in one day. Murad Ross said the pademic could not be controlled without the implementation of Corona SOPs and vaccination.
